Hello! My name’s Guilty and I’m assisting my friend @medb-maeve, an 18 year old homeless trans woman. You may or may not have seen my previous post, in which we were seeking a roommate and funds for rent and expenses. We successfully found Medb a roommate, and we also successfully raised her $348.86 thus far, after deducting a bit over the last month for her to eat! 

You can refer to my previous post for some details, but the tl;dr of it is that Medb had to abruptly leave two bad living situations in a row and has to find somewhere else to live, and currently, before she goes there, I’m hoping to get her cushioned with as much money as possible–ideally enough for a month or two of rent while she finds a job, and if nothing else money for food and necessities. She’s thankfully got a bit more time than anticipated to stay where she is currently, but we do want to get her moved out again as soon as possible. 

I’m managing her money with my paypal because as of right now she doesn’t have a bank account or credit/debit cards. Everything donated to her goes to her and I don’t use any of it for myself; I keep track of what’s exclusively hers in my account.

$1000 is my super ideal goal before she moves, but absolutely every little bit helps.

hey so Medb needs a roommate to live with again because the person she’d been talking to about it for over a month decided to bail out on their offer last minute with a really flimsy excuse AFTER conveniently accepting the first $400 for rent and claiming they’re going to pay her back in installments :)))))) so cute to steal from a homeless girl!!!!! 

so she needs roommate offers again, she can move virtually anywhere in the US. she has roughly $550 right now, IF she gets her $400 back, she’d have $950 but I don’t know how much we can count on seeing that money again
