hello all, i am back at it again with being poor. my partner @communistkirby has safely arrived and is settling in to living in boston, thank u to those who were able to help make their trip and everything go as smooth as possible! however, our family is in a bit of a bind. due to how tight finances have been lately(among other things), our gas and electric bill have gotten too high for us to reasonably pay on our own. each bill is around $350. i dont expect to come up with the full amount for both, we just want to be able to like. get enough covered so we can get the balance down to a manageable level. if we are able to fully cover both bills, any additional money raised will be used to cover household needs+travel (due to my chronic illness worsening, ive had to use my wheelchair more, and me and my girlfriend have had to take a lot more lyfts to get around).

hey all: thank you so so so much for all the help you’ve provided our family so far. we are so grateful to be able to afford things like bills and rent! however, we are not yet in the clear financially speaking.
we are out of foodstamps until march 1st (aka sunday) and affording to eat until then has been a challenge. on top of that, a nasty cold has been tearing its way through our household, and it has been hitting my girlfriend the hardest, given that it is their first boston winter and they spend a large portion of their time taking care of me when my chronic illnesses get bad and i need help with things. as a result, we desperately need to buy medicine, but since all of our money has gone towards rent and bills so far and i dont get paid for another week, i just dont have the money for it right now. literally any amount that people can spare to help us afford food and medicine would be greatly appreciated.
